Wish you were closer to east Texas. I have all of those on our place in East Texas. Don't want them all gone but wouldn't hurt to thin some out. I like watching the cats while deer hunting and listening to the coyotes in the evening. I trap several coons around my deer feeder and along the creek.

If you can get to the lake there are all sorts of critters there. Was at the south end of the lake years ago, in the government Jeep and called and had two coyotes bust out of a very small mesquite grove before I could get out of the car. Similar thing when we were cold camping just about 5 -6 miles south of Zapata on the lake. Called twice while walking to get away from our cold camp and one showed up at the run before I had covered about 20 feet. No time to even get the Steyr Aug up to my shoulder before he did an about face and was gone.

The Rio Grande holds beaver also. No beaver houses they burrow into the bank.
