The furthest spot on the property is about 400yds from the feeder is there Any other way to dispose of hog guts? The does that come to the feeder have fawns so I don’t want to attract coyotes because they might scare the deer. This is probably a stupid question but thanks anyway.

Put them someplace where buzzards can get to them. Or, bag them and haul them home for the trash guy. Actually, they don’t last long in the wild.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

I bury all carcasses here for the same reason. Dead pigs attract coyotes and coyotes eat deer. Fawns in particular this time of year. If you don’t have a tractor available to bury them a contractor trash bag will work to haul it away.

If you bury the remains, pour some cheap motor oil over the top of the ground. This helps to offset any smell that seeps out!

Clean the carcass downwind from camp and let the buzzards have at it. Should be gone in a few days. If necessary, throw a few shovels full of dirt over any remains.

Don't over think it....let the coyotes and buzzards have them. If the yotes are eating dead pigs, they won't likely be eating live deer......

I think you are over thinking it. You aren’t going to have more or less coyotes because of a gut pile a few times a year.

It really depends on coyotes and hogs and other scavengers. At our ranch we have what's called the bone yard. When we dump remains within a week they're gone. Either bury them which is a pain in the hiney parts, or put them at the furthest place from where you hunt. They'll be gone quicker than you think. As long as they're 100 yards or so away from where you hunt, you'll be fine.
Distance is not the issue, but the winds can make it interesting!

Make sure to only dump them first thing in the morning, so the Buzzards and Caracara have the day to clean them up, before coyote has a chance. I've cultivated such a large herd of birds that guts are gone in minutes. I dispose of Hide, carcass, bones and anything not specifically guts separately (in a pit or throw away as garbage), as they will continue to attract Coyote for a long time.

Like mentioned you are over thinking this! The birds even the small ones plus all the critters will get their feast, and by the time you come back for your next hunt that pile will be hard to find. Throw some corn on top of where that pile was and the deer will pick up that corn with not a care in the world.

My first lease we gutted deer I. The nearest clearing to where they fell. Deer that died at the feeder were gutted on the spot and guts went maybe 20 foot into the brush. Never seemed to bother anything at all.

Where they drop have worked fine for me. I have a small 20 acre property and buzzards have completely cleaned up a 200lb pig carcass in about a day and a half. Gut piles are gone within hours. Been doing this since I moved here and hasn't had any impact on the deep population.
