Just curious as to how many of you use a clip-on thermal for hunting and if you do, which clip-on are you using?

Bought one from Chasing Bone on here (good dude)
It’s the Accufire ascendis and it’s a clip on.
Really enjoy using it to scan at night for hogs driving around in the truck with a cold miller lite.
Can usually ID them around 200 yards, park the truck, clip it on my AR and stalk the rest of the way.
Easy money

That's cool. Never heard of the Accufire Incendis. Thank you for sharing!

As I mentioned in another thread, I used a TC 35-384 for about a year. It was very usable, but I found the setup heavy and switched to conventional optics and thermal both on ADM detachable mounts. That said, a correctly set up clip on is perfectly usable regardless of the negative publicity. Because of the brush on my lease, the vast majority of my thermal shooting was at under 90 yards, and I had a very satisfactory image out to maybe 125 yards.
