I could think of 75 better things to do with $ 300
Get a used Sightmark or save up a few hundred more for a used Pulsar - thank me later

The X-Sight was the fiasco digital night vision optic that ATN was proclaiming would change everything because it did everything. The only problem was, it was WAY under powered in the computer department and they could not get all the features to work at the same time as designed. They would fix one aspect, but then have to turn off or limit the capability of another feature for the fix to work. In short, they would rob Peter Function to pay Paul Function. Eventually, ATN said to hell with everybody and came out with the X-Sight II and stopped trying to make the original X-Sight work, leaving hundreds and hundreds of X-Sight owners screwed.

It's a paper weight.

Original X-Sight? Not the X-Sight II or 4K?
I have two of the original X-Sights the 3X and 5X. They still work and can kill hogs at night. But they have been way surpassed by better scopes. There is no way they are worth $300. I don't think I would even pay $100 for one ( I also wouldn't sell mine for $100 because they still work as loaner guns.)
I really don't think an X-Sight II or 4K used are worth $300.
You can get brand new Sightmark Wraith for $324 on Amazon and have a new scope with a warranty instead of an 8 year old scope with no support or parts available.
