To give you some idea of the image quality, these hogs are approximately ~160 yards away, 90 yards beyond the fence.

The Rix Storm S6 is a 640 resolution 2x native magnification thermal sight. The Storm line is Rix's budget line of weapon sights, but I thought the S3 (384, 3x) was outstanding for a 384 optic, but now Rix has come out with something better and just for $2800.00. I will have some video out in a few days.

Tim @ Tech Savvy Optics in Denton, Texas hooked me up with the S6 for a demo loan and video making for a few days. http://techsavvyoptics.com/

While I'm still using (and will continue to use for as long as it lasts) my IR Hunter 60mm MK3 thermal sight, earlier this year I purchased an AGM TM35-384 monocular. I'm realy impressed with the image quality of newer devices, and the photo above just reinforces that thought. That's a very good image for what seems an excellent price!

I agree. At $2,799 I was extremely skeptical but when I got behind it I quickly figured out it's legit if you're only needing a 2x base mag optic and you're shooting an AR platform. It's crazy what the thermal market prices have done recently.

Here is the video of the first night of hunting. It was a busy night, which is a change from what I have been experiencing of late...
