1986 (PT153) hunter grade with browning case and 3 invector choke tubes. Got this off a friend in a packaged deal but I’m unsure what it’s worth as I can’t find an exact match online. Has not been shot but not much from what can tell. Bluing is perfect with a few mild dings in the wood and the break is tight. Thanks for info you may have.

With the case easily $12-1500 depending on barrel length and if the lever is right of center.

Look at the fore end, is it wide and flat? or thin?

Good luck, it's a nice gun.

Mine did also have a case. Similar condition - overall nice but not free of imperfections. I had it listed a while on here and on texas gun trader also before finally selling it.

It looks like it, some Citori models have a wider, flat for end piece.

I have the same gun in 20ga, 1k all day. Is it factory choke tubes or did someone have that done? My barrels are choked IC/M and not tubed. Look on the back left side near the chambers. If it has stars {**} it was originally factory barrel choked and someone had it modified for the tubes.

Thanks y’all, would never have thought to look there. Here’s a pic of what I got, no ** just engraved “invector”.

I’m kind of a Citori guy. I believe standard invector chokes were first added to the Citori in ‘83. That one is a long tang with the flat knob stock. They have a little bit more vertical grip like the clay shooters like but are still open enough to make excellent field guns. That one has the wide forend. The long tang was replaced by the current short tang stocks to cut down on inletting labor. $1,200 or a little better this time of year with the case. It may fetch $1.500 closer to the fall and bird seasons. Those long tang Citori’s are built like a tank and known for excellent wood to metal fit. Nice shotgun that will hold it’s value.

I thought I gave close to $1k for a new Citori back in late 80s. It's a wonderful shotgun, and I thought it might have appreciated a little more over 3 decades.

The forearm would have the "beavertail" (rather flat/fat) compared to the Lightning of that year with a slim taper.

I have sold those cases for $350 alone.......off my table at the Tulsa Gun Show.

I’d buy it for a grand. I bought a Grade 6 Citori in the same case for $1200 from DocK on here.
