Hey guys I'm sharing this in case it helps. I spent about 45 minutes trying to figure this out on my phone and just got lucky.

You need this text -- Copy it and paste it in the thread you are building
[video:youtube]https://youtube.com/watch?v=ABC/video]

Copy your YouTube url. Replace ABC in the above URL with PART of your YouTube URL link.

For example, my youtube URL is:
https://youtu.be/DTFhhHnKSnA?si=pB9OxZaOSsQZkPWI

I only copied out this part of the URL -- DTFhhHnKSnA -- and replaced over the ABC above. Make sure to hit preview for you post it.

Or you can click on in the top banner select Youtube or Vimeo in the little popup window paste the URL for your video in the little popup window and click ok

I have found that to be hit or miss and doesn’t always work.

Always works for me.

Thanks man your comment made me go back and look at that little box that pops up when you choose the video icon.

Guys it was so easy all this time I didn't even realize it. Simply copy the URL you want to drop into the post and touch / press the screen right above that line to the left right above the word cancel and paste / drop in the URL. Hit OK.

It's that simple and all these years I didn't realize it. Hope this helps.
