OP BassBuster1 Tracker B Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 881 Mountain Springs/Ray Roberts	We are learning together and hopefully have some functioning knifes when we are done. One of the boys has learned some leather working and is going to teach us how to make a sheath when they are done. Crude forge for heat treating 1095 steel and oven tempering. Going to work on gluing and mechanical connections on the handles this evening.

OP BassBuster1 Tracker B Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 881 Mountain Springs/Ray Roberts	Finished one up last night, first knife I have made and I think it turned out pretty good. OAL is 6 1/2" and the blade is 2 3/4", EDC sized knife. The boys are glued up and ready to sand and sharpen.
