New to the reloading game. Where do you get your components for shotshell reloading? Mainly just for skeet shooting. Any places better than others.

Whoever has Cheddite 209 primers on sale -- and the appropriate Claybuster wads -- often either Ballistic Products or Precision Reloading. Watch for free Hazmat/shipping promotions. Shot has gotten ridiculously expensive.

Do not trifle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Nix in Lewisville. Just kidding but he was the place we ALL went for reloading supplies in the 70's and 80's. Scheels has a pretty good selection of shotshell components.
I started on a Lee Loader when I was 15, then used a MEC 600 Junior. I could crank out 4 boxes pretty quick. If you really start shooting a bunch, move to a progressive press. Now I just shoot factory loads as I don't shoot that much anymore.

Welcome to the reloading world! Will try to keep this short, I buy primers, powder local, to avoid hazmat charges, all the rest, bullets, wads, brass, etc all can purchase mail order. Yes ship has gone up since i started in 1980. My 3 big stores i d eal with, Midway USA Midsouth Shooters Supply Natchez Shooters Supply.
If these folks dont have it, you dont need it. There are some other retailers who sell hulls in bulk pretty cheap, been a while since i ordered 20's and 28 hulls.
Gud luck, and be safe, *** Most of all follow those reloading manuals, lots of research gone to formulate this data!
Thats my take....
"Are we really here in LIfe?, or is it temporary"

Appreciate it.
Scheels in The Colony had pretty much everything and just a cheap or cheaper than online.
Lots of reading and research.
I ended up just buying a flat a 410 AA’s to shot and then use hulls, I had some 28’s and will do the same.
