Looking for a good Cajun food spot near Allen, Plano, McKinney area. Used to go to a place called Fish Mongers in Plano that was great but they closed down.

Best Cajun for my money is GoGo Gumbo in Boyd, TX. Internationally cuisine trained chef and owner has a gold mine in Boyd. Excellent tasting food, BYOB. If too far, Pappadeux but only if too far.

I'll second that about GoGo Gumbo. It is very good, worth the extra drive if you're in the area.

Its not a Cajun place but Rustico Grill in Flower Mound has a few seafood options. The redfish and dirty rice is the best restaurant meal I've had in a long time.

Shoot. Eat. Repeat.

Ahhh Rustico in Highland Village, been wanting to try it. One of Marty's places along with Marty B's, 1845, etc. Good to hear the food is in line with his other places.

Rustico is owned by Marty Bryant, he also owns Marty B's, 1845, and he's opening Branded Bowls, Copper Catus.

I've had all 3 that are open now and they haven't disappointed ever. I work over there so Mary B's is a go to for lunch usually once a week.
