Have read information about Scott Huggins and others associated with club. Got scared off because of other post on this forum but I am back and looking for people that are members of the AHSC club. Scott referred me to Gary Smith, Gary Johnson, and David Williams. Talked with them and seem like nice people but they are either employees or board members of the holding company for the two ranches they lease. Has anybody been a client of this organization either with AHSC or the former company or association? Just looking for some direct client only knowledge reference checks.

I am going to meet Scott and look at the ranches next week.

For real?? Not just on this forum but complaints all over the internet - no way would I touch that - you are grown man but IMO you really need to rethink this

Yep my hunt friend was member in former club and did a couple of hunts with no success and very little game seen on allegedly premier ranches. I joined him on a turkey hunt on a new ranch Scott was using and moving his portable cabin's with mini splits (the one's he shows in his photos which get moved around 'alot') because no cost to me but a little time and it was close to one of my leases that I needed to check on anyway. I knew Scott from one of his prior business. Enjoyed the hunt, conversations and dinner with him and his son BUT THERE IS NO WAY I wouild ever join a club he was involved in, lease from him or pay him any money. My friend spoke with lots of other members his membership year, all who quit the club as did my friend after 1 yr.

Thank you for everyone talking me off the Scott cliff. I will move on and drop the conversation with AHSC.

This forum has saved me a lot of money over the years. And, my brother taught me in our family business that, sometimes, the most money to be made (saved) is when you say "no."

I think you just saved yourself a lot of headache

This is funny. Everyone I know that talked with Scott said he seemed like a great guy. I told them all go ahead and see, only to get burned. Classic wolf in sheeps clothing
