I want to get a lab if possible, no way I can afford a pedigreed so hoping for a rescue to rehome.

I'll add my name to this list TLew and Buzz.
Looking to start the young family in on the life of dogs, and the labs are atop the list currently.
It's hard to feel sorry for someone with one leg who shoots themself in the foot.

Cane Russo rescue is in Dallas. They have some labs and lab mixes.
