Howdy,
I need a good predator light and am having difficulty finding one that fits my needs. I have a very top heavy AR-10 that I will be using for pig and 'yote hunting and refuse to buy one of the large predator lights that mounts to the top of your scope. Are there any recommendations towards a mlok or picatinny rail mounted predator light besides some of the options I've seen on amazon? I don't need to be seeing past 200 yards and I would prefer the option to have a focus on my light. Thanks.

Whats your budget?

sniper hog is a little on the spendy side compared to the typical $39 "amazon" light... but they are a TX based company, that produces an outstanding product, that is known to stand behind their product, offer good customer service, etc..etc..

Ive got one of their IR 38 LRX lights that I use with a Day/NV optic.. as well as one of their 38 LRX green flashlights that I use as a handheld... Ive been very happy with both..

I mound the SH 38 LRX IR in a ring, attached to a pic rail thats a few inches to the rear of my muzzle on my AR..

Go to the Fur Harvesters trading post site and look at the head lights.

I have a wicked lights hand held lamp, it is good quality and has focus. They have one for rail mounting ( put it on one side). They get HOT after a while. The reflector is large but needed for 200yd range.

I believe they had a recall about the getting hot problem.

Nitecore has some solid options for that use. I have over 10 of their torches and headlamps ranging from $20 to $500 and they are very reliable even with hard use. The nitecorestore.com is a Texas business and they could point you in the right direction, The P30 or P30i would work great for what you are looking for. I have an older P30 that has had the crap beat out of it for over 10 years and it hasn't missed a beat.

Elusive Wildlife Technologies are located in Texas and were one of the first in this business. Most of the other companies simply knocked them off.
Adios,
Gary

^^^^This^^^^

They have a package deal light, it comes with Pic Mount, Scope mount, push buttons, 3 colors, 2 batteries and 2 chargers, and it all comes in a zipper case.

Go to their website and click on hunting lights. I have the XLR-500 package.

We've used hog sniper red lights on our scopes for years with zero complaints. We've graduated to red and green feeder lights now. They work very well.

Evidently the newer model Wicked had a problem with the batteries, mine just go hot from the LED being on a while. Normal, just like my LED flashlights.

We use these led lights from Longhorn Tactical and they come with a rail mount in this package.
Been real happy with them.
Comes in green or red.
