Those of y’all with the 10 speed transmission, is 215 degrees the normal running temp for no load and 83 external temp?
It’s 50 degrees hotter than what my Ram was and it doesn’t leave much room before it’s in the yellow/red warning

I have a 23 F350 10-speed and yes, it runs warm. 215-219 is normal from what I've seen over the last year.

In general slush boxes are happiest between 150 to 185.

215* is hot when not pulling a load.
My 10 speed would run around 180-200* depending on outside temp but liked to stay around 185* I never saw it go above 200*
My 6 speed 2017 however was very warm blooded and would regularly see temps in the summertime unloaded was was 210-220* and when under a load at highway speeds would be 230-235*. I called ford and they said “ that was normal”. However I put 164k trouble free miles on that truck, it’s the 10 speed that gave me issues.
I would call the service department and have them look at it. IMO that’s hot.
I have the 10 speed Allison and a normal operating temp for it is 145-165*
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

It appears the yellow/caution zone starts at 265, awfully high in my opinion but I’m not an engineer.
I guess we will see how it does on Saturday, 106 outside temp and around 6000 pounds on the trailer for a light initial break in load.

215 is definitely hot regardless of the brand, at 265 things are going to start failing pretty damn quick. Our new fords don’t run over 195 empty and around the same pulling a skid steer, I’d be having issues if they ran over 200 empty,

10r140 and 10r80 both operate between 195-230°.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Not that I like the high temps but modern synthetics handle them pretty good. There is a guy with a ram with a zf trans on a ram forum I’m on. He put 100,000 miles on it with a faulty thermal control valve. Trans ran 230-265 degrees for most of those miles. He had the fluid sent to an oil analyzer after he changed it and it was still in great shape.

Disappointed with the amount of body shake it has. My HUD bounces and shakes from small road bumps, decent bumps will shake the cab and rattle the doors. Never did that in my Ram, same roads, same speeds. This Ford wanders a lot…. I mean a lot, may be the tires, but the steering wheel is cocked to the left

I’ll look at my temps tmw, I don’t ever check that stuff anymore They have very tall lugs, I’m sure that plays into it, I’ll put some good heat in them this weekend and see if they settle down some

That seems pretty toasty. Was actually 80 here today and 50 miles unloaded the 24 dirtymax 10 speed sat at 140 Then towed 10k 200 miles this afternoon and it parked at 150.

I mean a lot, may be the tires, but the steering wheel is cocked to the left Manufacturers don't align every new car or truck. Typically they align every 5th one and align the 4 after it to the same setting. Put a few hundred miles on it and then have it aligned.

I have a 23 F350 10-speed and yes, it runs warm. 215-219 is normal from what I've seen over the last year. Same here, but have a F250 with 3.31 gears and NOT a H.O. Engine. Don’t need the extra power and a new engine adaption for Ford. (Not buying 1 st year engine tweak). My HUD is perfect and truck is tight on the road, but I also have never driven the Tremor package. I also thought my steering wheel was crooked at first but it was the lane centering/blue cruise was involved. Turn those off and try it.

Yesterday I left Hobbs NM with a 8000 lb compressor on a 4000lb trailer. Crossing over the caprock it was 107 ambient, my trans temp was 220. Thats with a 2024 6.7 HO F 250, I was going 75 mph. I will look today and see what it does unloaded.
A general rule of thumb on jacket water oil coolers is that the oil temp will be 20-30 degrees above coolant temp.
My HUD is solid. And I dont have those tires the Tremor has, and mine drive great with no shake, maybe the tires causing the shake?

I also thought my steering wheel was crooked at first but it was the lane centering/blue cruise was involved. Turn those off and try it. I’ve had it off the past 2 days. Still cocked to the left. Yesterday I left Hobbs NM with a 8000 lb compressor on a 4000lb trailer. Crossing over the caprock it was 107 ambient, my trans temp was 220. Thats with a 2024 6.7 HO F 250, I was going 75 mph. The tires are at 65psi, haven’t had time to drop the pressure, they seem very hard which would add to the wandering also. Ram finally figured out transmissions and how to cool them. Highest temp I ever saw was 191 and that was 1 hour of pulling steep hills with lots of switchbacks. I’m read that the fluid doesn’t start breaking down until continuous use above 280

Drop the front psi to 55#. 65 should be fine for the back.

Yeah but with that 2mpg better fuel mileage over that GMC you’ll save $400 per year.

2 days and we're already getting Ford complaints...this warms my heart Have I said it's going to be fun watching you tear this truck up?

I was sitting at 208 after driving around town for less than an hour. Guess they run a little warmer but I’ve had no issues. Pulling is where they shine
