Welcome to our forum. A lot of great information on here. A lot of good folks but sometimes a minor few will gripe and complain and argue so just know its usually the vocal minority that can be found anywhere.
You shouldnt feel obligated to tell us more about yourself, but feel free to if you wish.
If you tell us what rifle you shoot I can guarantee some will say its great and some will say its bad. Same thing with sweet or unsweet tea, chili with or without beans or ford or chevy etc. Now, if you say you are a democrat then 59,997 out of 60000 will really give you a hard time(and mean it.)

Never had a .30-'06 but I'm not against it. Chili is only meat sauce without beans. Real Texans put beans in chili because of lack of wealth in the days when the State was founded. I am a GM truck guy and don't care for F*** or the other one with failing interiors and an identity crisis. I prefer 9X19 over .380 AUTO and I won't carry a .22 for defense nor shoot a deer with a .223 REM unless I need to for survival. I think politics as a whole is stupid because of two parties ... pot is fine for someone else.
What did I miss?
