Sad day for us, buried the best dog I’ve ever had. She will be missed. The kids loved her, heck I’ve had her longer than Ive known my wife and she was almost twice as old as my oldest kid. Just shy of 16 years with her, most good, the last few have been tuff. She went everywhere with me for most of her life vacation fishing trips the boat and the ranch. Trained her to blood trail for a while. She was deaf and mostly blind I think and this morning was the last. She is now under a big oak out back. Gut wrenching. I am sorry that you lost her. People dying I can handle but dogs passing eats at me like nothing else.

When you get one of the good ones, it sure hurts to lose them. But they will be in you and your family's memories forever.
We have a 17 year old labradoodle that was our daughters service dog, she will likely not make 18 years. This will be the toughest loss ever
