Wanting to get an upgraded trigger on my Remington 700. Need a good gunsmith recommendation near Fort Worth or just west of Fort Worth.

700 triggers are drop in. Order your trigger and a Wheeler torque screwdriver, YouTube the instructions.

Agree.. if all youre wanting to do is a trigger swap... a 700 is about as easy a job as can be found... almost completely idiot proof... watch a YouTube video or two and you'll be able to knock it out in less than 10 minutes (including prep time)...

If youre still not confident enough to do it yourself.. truthfully ANY qualified gunsmith can do this.. it is a super basic, fundamental job... that doesnt require some of the high dollar tools that better gunsmiths might have that lessor gunsmiths might not (high quality milling machines, lathes, etc)... a couple of very basic hand tools are all that is needed..

I have used and been pleased with the work I've had done at Panther City Firearms. They are located at 3025 Lackland Rd. on the westside of Fort Worth, near Ridgmar Mall.

I used the Smith at Winchester on 820 to adjust my trigger, excellent work and a nice guy.
