My hunting partner placed two of these this weekend. I was impressed. When I first saw the motor at the bottom of the hopper I was skeptical. But why? The motor is completely sealed in it's own housing. The battery and electronics are in a box above the feed. I really liked the way it operated, coon proof with the eliminator mechanism.

Only thing I don't know is long term dependability. Anyone run one of these a while? They're $359.00 at Tractor Supply.

I went to TSC site and saw the 300lb tree line corn feeder was 399.00. the 600 lb corn feeder was 499.00. Am I looking at the wrong model?

I'm skeptical of the varmint proof feature. Does it really work? I've seen those spinner plates partially open with corn jammed in there.

Maybe there was a sale that ended. Time will tell on the varmint proof feature.

Mine jammed 3-4 times in the first 6-8 weeks, it was very frustrating. I finally got the plate set at the right height; it's fed reliably since December/January 2x a day every day. Customer service was solid but I don't know if they guy helping me is still with the company. There's another thread on here about that feeder-you can read more in there.

I'd dang sure buy another one at $359, that's a heck of a sale (for the large).

Same, mine clogged till I readjusted. Ran it all deer season till March with no more issues.

I'm thinking of getting the 300lb one this year. I saw there was a Christmas sale $100 and hoping would be another for the offer season to grab one

This is the other thread:

https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/8830480/1

I read back through and it reminded me that part of the jam problem with mine was likely dirty corn/lots of cob. I got mine on sale and since it was boxed the TSC manager discounted it another 10% (it also took them a bit to find it).

I posted on this thread back around 6/9/23 that I had purchased one of the 300 lb. Stand & Fill Treeline feeders.

[Linked Image]

Been in service just over a year now spinning twice a day. Nary a problem and it looks brand new.

It was/is definitely worth the $399 price.

ya!

I bought 2 of the 300 # model this spring and love them. Have had no problems at all and I have no pictures of coons even trying to get to them. Easy to fill and am entirely satisfied with these feeders

Seen these before, are they 2 speed, fast/slow or 3 speed; anybody know the approximate throw radius on different speeds? Thanks

Single speed, not adjustable. 20-25 ft.

I just set the 350# yesterday and rain perfectly. They put it together and didn't have any jamming issues on the couple test spins. I don't see how coons can get anything and I love how heavy it is. The damm cows wont be able to knock it over and break it like the other cheaper feeders I had. I'm looking forward to bow season overlooking it here shortly. $300 for all metal construction, spinner plate, and 350# limit is Amazing deal for $300. Can't beat that

TSC is the bomb! Bought that 600lb feeder 3 weeks ago tomorrow for $499. After reading it’s on sale now, went back to the store and they generously refunded me the difference. That’s Customer Support!

Bought my 350 lb.Treeline feeder from Tractor Supply a 2 1/2 years ago, below is my take on it.

First year late into the season it would barely drop down and not throw corn out, battery indicator said it was fully charged?
So I go to Tractor Supply and pay the guy who puts them together to come out and fix it, he said it was the bolt that compress's against the shaft that spins the feeder had come loose.
Low and behold it did the same not to long after that fix, had the battery tested and one of the readings was off so I bought a new Treeline 12 volt battery and worked fine.

Second time I noticed it was not throwing was early this November, my battery indicator showed full charge so I tightened the bolt down and it improved barely for a spin or two then back to not working?
Bought another battery and it is working fine again. I believe the Solar Panel setup is not working correctly and that has been my problem al along.
The solar panel gets at least 6 hours of direct sun light on sunny days.

Love the lay out with the solar panel on top and the timer box inside which is easy to use. concerned though about the Racoons hanging down from the frame of the spinner trying to get corn with no success for now, not sure how long the frame around the spinner will hold up if they continue to use it as a jungle gym.

One other issue, noticed mold on some corn in the area underneath the control box, turns out water was leaking into the feeder from the solar panel on top, caulked around the solar panel and appears to be fine now.

For the money it is okay, next one I will spend more money for a higher quality.

I had to drill out the spinner holes as informed from customer service to give more tolerance and no issues since. I'm waiting for another sale to get another. I really like the design! Metal and not cheaply made. Cows can't push it over and no problems with coons or deer spinning all the corn out.

Just after I gave a glowing review of mine to a fellow hunter, mine quit throwing. Figured it was the battery, 15 mos old. New battery, no luck. Showed full charge that dropped to 2 bars when it kicked on. Spun it by hand, no luck. Test, Test, etc, it would click but not throw. Back to store for 2nd new battery. Same thing. So I pulled the plate down and spun it by hand several times. I set the time for 30 seconds at 11:00 am (it was 10:58). It kicked off, and I helped it get started and it threw for the entire time. Waited 30 seconds, hit TEST, and it threw on it's own. I failed to pack any WD40 to lube the bracket. We'll see if it keeps throwing or if I have to jack with it again next weekend.

For what these things cost nowadays i expect it to work the first time and not have to tinker w gap screw settings for a long time.
Ive been running 4 ASF and/or buccees feeders for over 5yrs now. Only replaced battery or a timer in all that time.
Easy to get them online and in store, service is great.
Been seeing a lot of issues on these TSC Tree line feeders on other forums as well. Its in the penalty box for me now!
