Does anyone have any experience with Arken's night vision scope?

https://www.arkenopticsusa.com/products/ZULUS-HD-5-20x-Digital-Day-Night-Vision-Scope-p585739018

Like the socpes themselves, the price with this code almost seems insane. But I kinda like the SH 4-16 I have.

Why did they put the light on the left side? Most shooters are right handed. focus with left hand.

I really like the optics, I just wish Arken made a second focal plane scope for hunting. FFP scope's are pretty useless for hunting low light or at night.

Distance is not the issue, but the winds can make it interesting!

Guess again. There's this new thing called illuminated reticles......Arken's have them.

I hear what you're saying. We were shooting at our local range. The guy next to me was shooting a 5-25 Arkin. As dusk and shooting light faded he cranked it down to 5X. The reticle was so small. He turned on the illumination. Yes, there was a very tiny illuminated dot. He agreed it was barely helpful. Not saying it can't be done, it can it's just not ideal. If you hunt low light or at night consistently a SFP is a much better option.

Hence I'd love to have a SFP scope from them.

I personally think that their AHMR2 IR moa FFP on their Helos btr gen2 2-12x42 is the worst reticle I have ever used.

Haven’t even set the zero stop. $350

Pretty sure that's an Athlon, not Arken. I hated that Helos' reticle myself. The dot is way too big for any kind of precision shooting.

Thanks, but I've killed hundreds of hogs at night/very low light. Never had a problem with illuminated FFP's, including the two Arken's I have.

My problem with it as well. I think it would have been better with a traditional mil reticle with half mil increments.

Oh you are right I’m a complete dumb arse. my bad

Do you want to buy a Athlon roflmao

It’s bad I wish I’d look through before I bought it but it was on super sale and was going on a truck 223….. glass is good and it tracks. But now I know why it was on sale. I feel like the center is a 10 MOA jack in box head center piece. it’s huge
