Couple of buddies pulled me into their stationary rowing group and I'm trying to get the hang of it. I'm particularly interested in rowing now as it's almost no impact and almost a total body workout if done right. I've begun to encounter more frequent injuries with high impact workouts and as I age, I need more efficient workouts that don't jack me up.

I've already found Dark Horse Rowing on Youtube, but does anyone have any good beginner or intermediate workouts they like? I've mostly been using the Concept 2 rower in the gym, and will probably buy my own C2 soon.

I have a concept 2 and use several times a week, I usually do either a long row at steady pace or speed work doing 2 minutes as fast as I can, 1 minute break and try to get 6 sets

I do it as a cardio rotation for part of my weekly exercises. Other cardio options bike, Skig and slide boards. I just get board quick I’m more of intense intervals. Deep level 2 type cardio bike or ruck.

I’ve you can stay at it, I don’t think you can beat it, very efficient with minimal joint trauma

I like my Nordic Track cross country machine better than rowing.
