Had a Nikon Bushmasters scope go south on me when it would not hold zero. Shipped it off to Nikon along with all the required paperwork. They confirmed it was defective and said it wasn't economically feasible to repair it. Gave a voucher for what I paid to use at their online store for any sports optic product now available. While I would have rather had a new Nikon scope, I'm impressed they would offer me anything in return for a product they stopped making years ago. A new pair of Nikon binoculars will soon be headed my way.

Exact thing happened to me. It was right after they stopped making them. I bought a rangefinder from their online store, and when I got it, it did not work right out of the box. Had to send it back too. I was not impressed. That's why I would not buy a used Nikon for any price.

I dropped my bushmaster off at the KC store, got it back in mail with a 20% off coupon for a new scope, Nope scope was still bad. have a couple Nikons that still work, keep them til they don't and then trash them.

Sucks. I always liked Nikon for a decent optic at a reasonable price.
