Anyone have a 7mm PRC around the DFW area and want to hit the range?
I typically shoot at Elm Fork, but can meet at another range. I wanted to shoot a 7mm PRC before buying one to feel the recoil. I can buy the ammo, and bring my Bergara B-14 HMR in .308 that you’re welcome to shoot.

More people should do this. I know too many people with investments in their closet that they don’t want to shoot after the first go round.

My hunting buddy just built an ultra light shooting white box hornady suppressed and it’s pretty light on recoil imo.

It depends on how the rifle is set up, on how hard or soft it is going to recoil. Rifle weight, muzzle brakes, suppressors, and slow burn powders cut down on recoil.
It's the new 7 Rem Mag. Very similar internal case capacity, running the same bullets.
My 7 Rem Mag is loaded with a 180 gr Berger, at 3000 fps MV. You won't find ammo like that on the shelves. 11 pound scoped rifle, with a very good brake, and a slow burn powder, and it is no big deal to shoot.
