Went to the Oasis in Uvalde for lunch. Wasn’t planning on buying anything but did take a gander at the goods. Ended up with a gun sling, some Hey Dudes, a case of Blue Top batteries, a knife sheath AND Wifeypoo made it clear I needed a new gun safe for when the house remodel has been completed. It’ll be delivered next week. Also needing to secure a new stand, had to look at their stuff and am now rethinking my previously pre-determined plan. May well be one of the most expensive lunches ever.

Looking at Bitter Creek which is made in Uvalde. 8 foot tower limit likely means no. TX Hunting Systems has what appears to me as knock off of Atascosa with better windows.

Glorified house shoes. For someone that lives on a ranch anyway. Although, I just shot a coyote in mine, in the rain, off the porch.

It went with the home we sold. Your rolls of duct tape aren’t as attractive a theft item as you might think.

Glorified house shoes. For someone that lives on a ranch anyway. Although, I just shot a coyote in mine, in the rain, off the porch. Exactly. Damn comfortable though. I wear mine around the house and yard as long as there’s no work involved. They are not a foot protection in any way. They’re good for a beer run. You gotta kick em off to fight and stomp snakes.

I remember when Augustinian, the grazing lease operator, set it up to work cattle. Him and all us schmuck hunters all pulled up in our F250s and the three cowboys showed up in Rams. Two of the three of them had Dudes on in the pen.
