Have you ever been teaching your son something and told your wife to be quiet for a minute? Mine didn’t listen. He may never learn how to work a frog bait over a tank.

When you carry them fishing, you gotta expect it. Been there and got the shirt. Get gone early. While it’s dark and the missus is still in bed. Leave her a note y’all went early for the top water bite. Play it like you were doing her a favor slipping out of the house and letting her sleep in. Play it just right and she might have your supper ready when y’all get back home after a nice day of peace and quiet…

A wife interrupting when a father is teaching his son to fish makes as much since as a father interrupting a mother when she is teaching her daughter to cook. There is a time and place for everything. Quiet is good. I value quiet.
