All of yall talking about chicken fried venison all week made me crave some. So I made some chicken fried venison steak fingers. I decided instead of seasoning the flour or the meat prior to rolling in flour, I seasoned them like French fries right when they came out of the oil. That was a pretty good move if I must say. I also bought a potato ricer to make the mashers, don’t think I’ll ever use a hand masher or hand held mixer ever again. That is beautiful right there. Don't know why but I always eat the mashed with gravy and steak, and fries with horseradish sauce with the fingers!!

Went to an RV Show today in the Boise Expo Center, and decided to have lunch. One of the options was finger steaks and fries. Quite possible the best I have had from a commercial eatery. Not only flour, but a little corn meal mixed in. The only down side was, they had yellow mustard or BBQ sauce. I managed to survive on slim vittles!!!
