I have a Winchester 23 and wondering if anybody has ever brought on to a gunsmith and added choke tubes? If so who did you use. May be something I can call briley about. Existing barrels are fixed IC and M. Not sure I’m set on destroying the resale value but sometimes wish I could have tighter patterns if needed. Gun is a 1 in 500 Golden quail in 28ga.

Briley has all the price’s on their website. I sent them a semiauto barrel two years ago it came out great but with chokes and everything it was close to 500 dollars you’re looking at double that took like two weeks. I would call them they don’t work on every model of gun

IC and Mod chokes are always my go to, unless planted bird trials, then it’s skeet choke. You’ve got the perfect wild bird choice with your fixed barrels. If it’s not enough challenge, go .410.

Look up Mike Orlen on shotgunworld.com. He’s done three guns for me, excellent work. Cost is much less than Briley and about a weeks turnaround.

Not sure I would touch it. I'd buy a different gun before I would mess that one up.

I'll solve your problem for you at no cost to you. I've got a fine Franchi AL48 in 28 gauge with chokes that I'll trade you even for that beat up old Winchester. I'll even bring the Franchi to your door.

Appreciate the offer but not sure I can go to a semi as sxs and o/u are to much fun.
