9 black jurors for a county that was 8 percent black. What are the chances?
The case was moved to downtown LA, from Santa Monica. Possibly the biggest blunder in the entire fiasco.

The case was moved to downtown LA, from Santa Monica. Possibly the biggest blunder in the entire fiasco. The chances are 100% because that is what happened. Should the state have struck jurors based on skin color?

Considering they left a black panther on the jury, who famously gave OJ a black power salute. Yes, they did a piss poor job.

Then why would the DA agree to an almost all black jury? The DA knew what was going to happen. I don’t think the DA picked jurors to purposely lose, the picked jurors for other reasons, but not to purposely lose. Jury selection is a process of elimination, they each take turns eliminating jurors. The defense was for sure purposely striking white jurors, that’s was their strategy. The DA did not take same strategy to purposely strike black jurors.
