How are you doing? Please accept my apologies for not replying sooner but for some reason I am not getting notifications of replies from my post.
This is a 5 day hunt with a total of 6 days in bear camp. Arrive on Saturday and depart the next Friday. All inclusive, meals, lodging at a remote camp, daily baiting upon arrival, bait sites are started well before arrival, skinning and cleaning of your harvest, transportation to and from all stands. It is $2,150 including license/tag and airport pick up and return is $150. I require 50% deposit to hold your spot which is $1,000.
I only take 3 hunters per week for the first 2 weeks of the season to ensure I have a healthy population of bears and the first 2 weeks are, by far, the best weeks. I currently have 2 hunters from WV already booked for the second week, September 15th-20th, which leaves 1 spot left to fill. I have had several hunters from Texas and last month I was in Irving, TX to visit them and catch up on our hunting adventures. It was a great meeting everyone and catching up. If you are interested in 2025, please get a hold of me in January, 2025 as I will know what I have available. The spots fill up pretty fast as I only guide for the 1st 2 weeks of the season and only take 3 hunters per week which keeps the bear population high and the 1st 2 weeks of the season are, by far, the best for hunting black bears.

2023 was a successful year for all my hunters. We had multiple bears hitting the bait site giving them lots of opportunity to harvest a black bear.

The season is getting close, only 4 months and I'll be welcoming my hunters for the 2024 season. I still have 1 spot left to fill for this fall, September 15th-20th. In April, I went to Boyd, Texas to visit 5 past hunters from Texas, it was an awesome visit and catching up on some great memories. I have such respect for my Texas hunters and would love to have a new hunter from Texas join me for this fall's black bear hunt.
