Recently was able to hunt Javelina down in South Texas, and had quite a great time. I had been wanting to hunt Javelina for a few years, so it was fun to cross that species off my Bingo card. Funny little buggers, I could have shot seven or eight at a time given how they like to bunch together. They also have the shortest memory of any animal I've hunted, as not five minutes after shooting, the whole herd would return and continue to feed.

Yes they are! I wish I could upload the videos I took of my buddy bow hunting them. They almost sound like dogs when startled.

Good for you. To me they are cool to watch, but they are a pita if you are feeding without a pen. That and they are usually flea and tick ridden critters.

I wish the bag limit was more than two, because they were fun to hunt and plentiful!
