I had the barrel shortened from 20” to 16”. It was just too long for small blinds. I told em 17”, but nobody listens anymore. No big deal. Put the quick detach Athlon scope back on it and shot a few rounds. Might be 4” less barrel, but the POI and accuracy have not changed. Dead on. Been a crappy week for me, so it’s good to finally have a little joy. Now, if I just had a few hogs around….

Buzz, I do have a bunch of crap in the workshop. For years I knew where everything was, so it was Ok. Now, when looking for object A, I find object B, that I didn’t remember having. Sometimes though, it’s like Christmas.

Who made those sling swivels?

Those are Uncle Mike’s I think. When I ordered the sling from Murray Leather, the sling came with your choice of sling swivels, and I specifically asked for those push button release sling swivels. The rifle butt stock had the proper plug in attachment hole, but I had to order what I wanted for the forearm. It fit the M-Lok slots, and I could put it where I wanted it, which was out toward the end of the forearm.

And a big hog has started eating corn at the back feeder. My heart sings…
