Let's see them, I know some of you will be posting Brown Besses. I wish I had done this when I was younger and I could have gotten nicer/cheaper, bought a 1987 guitar a few years back too.

I got this 1987 CZ83, easy to date these with the year stamped on the trigger guard. By the way, can any of you ID the logo taped on the bottom of that magazine? No luck so far at other forums/instagram.

Very cool! I've been looking for a cool birth year gun for many years. If anyone runs into a 1985 Colt Python or any other cool 1985 guns (or 1960 guns for my father in law), let me know.

I was born is '60, my pop got me a Belgium Browning SA22 that year. Years later I checked the serial number, yep from 1960. This is the sexist .22 ever made IMHO. This is a picture of my grandkids holding it while taking them on their first shooting lesson. I'll see if I can find better pictures after my meetings.

I lean towards anything from the 70's - guns, trucks and women. Things were just build better back then. Think the only thing I have from my actual year is a 74' Single Six.

Pictures to follow.

Just inherited cousins IH M1 Garand and S/N indicates it's from my birth year.
Nephew has it's stable mate that is same year but about 750 S/Ns later.
Both were built by my cousin who was an armorer in National Guard.

Still trying to find one. Dead set on a marlin 30-30 and only one I’ve managed to come across was to beat up.

I only have one that's even close ... 1978 Ruger Blackhawk that is newer than me. From there I go to a 1983 Marlin and the other direction are my Marlins from 1951. Wait...my prestine 870 Wingmaster in 20 ga. might be close to 1974 as it was purchased by my grandfather's crew as a retirement gift from the Texas Highway Department and he retired in 1976 (I think). Anyone an expert on Remington serial numbers?

Not guns, but a friend gave all three of his daughters birthyear vintage bottles of wine on their 21st birthdays.

I like to plug my birth year into searches on Gunbroker, Ebay, FB market, etc and see what comes up. Good way to find year specific stuff.

I had a Winchester 94 from my Birth year 62 so it like me was a pre 64.

Not quite birth year (1963) but not too far off. In 1969 after his second Vietnam tour my Uncle was stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He purchased these 2 pre-Garcia L61 Sako Finnbears from the Rod and Gun Club there for less than $170 each. One is a 30-06, the other .270. I own both guns now with their original paperwork. The .270 was my fathers and will go to my youngest son when I no longer hunt. My oldest uses and owns the 30-06 and hunts with it. My Uncle never did take a deer with it, think he had enough killing in Vietnam - but my son has used it on several deer and hogs. God knows how many the .270 has taken between my Dad, myself, and my sons.
