Since purchasing our ranch outside Olney ten years ago, we've always used Shumate Taxidermy in Seymour. Greg and Sheri do great work. We've had animals turned around in a couple months, others took many months. They've done all of our deer, exotics, Axis and other critters. Can't speak highly enough about them. Not to mention there prices are lower than a lot of Taxidermy shops around us.

Here you go. Sorry these mounts are elevated in our guest cabin on the ranch. I can't get up to take them down or get a better view. The Axis and Scimitar Oryx were shot on a ranch down in Rock Springs, the Black Buck in south Texas. Most of the whitetails came from our ranch west of Olney. A couple from south Texas. The one on the side of the house was my sons he got on opening day last year. It scored 119 & 1/8. Not a bad deer for the ranch, though I wouldn't have let him go for another year. The other whitetails scored in the 130's and one just at 140. 120's are normal for the ranch, we'll see a 130 or so pass through during the rut. Getting a shot is another thing.

Shumate's does great work.

They've done good work for us, too. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Great people, as well!
