Collector's Firearms is basically a museum and you can handle most of the guns there. A little pricey as far as buying but a good place to kill time since it is a huge place.

Think there is a Sportsmans Finest store in Houston now, Carter Country but it's out Hwy 10 going West.
Back in the day, there was a store called Grant and Elsing (spelling)

I recommend Carter's Country Treaschwig Rd. Spring, Tx. A great gun store, outdoor range, and it's worth the drive just to see Mr. Carter's African mounts!

Gordy and Sons. It is just off of Washington. Go eat at Truth BBQ then stop by Gordys and have a day.

Collector's is a must see for sure. Then Gordy's. Already been mentioned but needed a 2nd or 3rd IMO.

I grew up there in Spring and that was my first job while in high school. Always thought I had one of the best jobs a kid could get then.
And on the 8th Day God created the Mauser and God saw the Mauser was good, and God divided the Mauser from the rest.
