Looking for some catching gear for my boy's team that is in better shape than what we have right now. Tempted to go buy a new select set from Marucci with the velcro attachment for the leg guards, but I thought I might check here first to see if anyone is looking to offload some. Let me know what you have!

I have catcher's mitts for ages 8-15 or maybe even high school. They may need minor work. I'm in the middle of a restoration on an early '80's A2000XL so it might take a few days to get one ready. PM me your number and I can text pics, etc.

Pass the gravy.

I'm in Celina. Shoot me pics (or I can message you my cell if that's easier) if you don't mind

I bought my 12 year old son new catcher's gear this past Fall. His old gear was handed down from his older brother, so it was time to go. I got him the Rawlings Velo 2.0 Intermediate Catcher's Set. It's a major upgrade from his old Adidas gear. It's about $100 less buying it on Amazon than other reputable retailera. I don't know your son's age, but at $230, I'm not sure you can find better gear for the price.

Also, if you are looking for a new glove, I bought this one about 18 months ago. I bought it from Dick's and had them to do the initial steam break-in at the store. That didn't do much, but we kept on oiling/wrapping it and with enough use, it's now broken in pretty good. Definitely would not use it in a game until it's really broken in. My son likes it, it's got pretty good lacing and padding. I bought him the EvoShield Catcher's Thumb Guard for added protection, as well.

Yep, this one along with the Samurai and the Marucci have been on my radar. I've been leaning toward the Marucci because of the velcro leg guards versus the hook/d rings. I know the velcro won't last a lot of seasons, but it's a whole lot easier for 8/9 year olds to rip it off if you wind up batting that inning.
