About 2 years ago I acquired a unit as part of a bulk reloading purchase. Previous owner had it over 5 years and did not use it. He acquired from another person in a similar deal. I would say it was almost brand new condition but at least 7-8 yeas old. I was chamfering some brass and heard a clunk, one shaft stopped spinning followed by another clunk and the others stopped and the motor locked up. Simple disassembly revealed that 2 nylon gears attached to the steel slave shafts had split into several pieces and locked up the driving shaft. I called Hornady to explain the situation to see if I could order replacement parts. Customer rep took my name and address and said I will have them out to you shortly. NO COST. Arrived in 5 days. Complete set of new shafts and nylon gears. Replacement was 2 minutes. Unit works great and is actually quieter than before.
That's customer service. Kudos to Hornady.
