He is still who I recommend but I sent someone there a couple of weeks ago. It appears there has been a significant price increase. So goes the world. I get it.

How bad? I paid $125 for a cut and thread.

Anyone who can chamber a rifle can thread a muzzle. You have all kinds of options.

My only complaint with Class III is about the time I was going to have Morgan cut a few muzzles, he quit doing drop offs. I live a town over from him and I ain't mailing it to him...I also get his reasons and he stays plenty busy enough he didn't miss my few barrels. Zero doubt he does good work.

My prices on normal stuff has stayed pretty much the same for years.

Only big increase I’ve done is on weirder stuff, or bolt guns with triggers in on cut downs. Trigger in significantly increases the job time.

May resume drop offs in spring or summer, just never ever come close to running out of mail in jobs.

Drop offs got bad, had tons of people skipping appointments. Many were late, early etc made it tough to get stuff done.

My customers use pirateship.com it’s insanely cheap to ship. 30 or less round trip

Only takes a few to ruin it for the rest. $30 round trip is pretty reasonable when you compare it to your gas consumption and time!
