That brought back memories! I too have spent a midday watching a bedded herd of buff...and I didn't get a shot then either!

This video REALLY shows the difference that a scoped rifle can make: that first bull would have been in the salt easily with one. Still, I honor the hunter for taking his buff with his double...and ANY mature, hard-bossed bull is a trophy regardless of spread. Well done!
