Been awhile since I posted here, but thought I’d put this up here cause I need some ideas. Baby James Bailey joined the world on Christmas Day 2023. For both of my older children I’ve bought something for them that they can have forever. For my daughter, I bought an add a pearl necklace so by the time she’s 18 she’ll have a nice necklace. For my older son I bought a Oris watch that I’ll give him when he’s 18. I wear it for special occasions now so he’ll hopefully have some pictures and memories of it. For number 3 we didn’t find out the gender til birth so i didn’t get anything picked out before. But now I’m struggling to think of something for him. Anybody done something like this for their kids and want to share some ideas? I don’t really want to do a gun at this point. I’ve got plenty to pass on and I’m sure I’ll have more by the time their old enough.

Think I would wait. His personality, motivation, etc won’t be known until then.

I really have nothing to add but congratulations! When my 1st and only son was born, I thought of buying him a rifle immediately. I ended up waiting on the rifle purchase. So, congrats!! Fine looking boy!
