Seeing the new Kifaru logo I've been thinking it looked familiar. I had no idea with what. Found it... ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/01/full-34714-412212-kifaru.png) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/01/full-34714-412213-kahles.png) It bears something of a resemblance to First Lite's sun-coming-out-from-behind-a-mountain logo as well. Just the mountain part.

I like it, Apparently they get alot of shotte for the rhino, guess everyone thinks they are an african hunting company.
Rhino is a cooler logo but I get the branding issues and need for simplicity

The bigger question is have either of you ordered the new carbon fiber frame kifaru is releasing? Looks pretty cool. But I don't need to spend money right now.

Rhino is a cooler logo but I get the branding issues and need for simplicity I'm indifferent about the new one. It's "safe" (said differently, it's boring). But it's a logo. I agree with the rest of your response.

This new model is only a couple of ounces lighter. The juice, to me, won't be worth the squeeze. Only way I'd be interested is if I got a really good price to sell my Duplex Lite. Otherwise, I don't have a problem... if it aint broke don't fix it. Price aside, if it were my first frame I'd absolutely go that route.

It is amazing how many people don't apply that kind of logic to "shiny objects"....I am a big fan of if it aint broke don't fix it.
There will be some well discounted used duplex and tactical frames on the market soon I suspect...shiny happy people looking at shiny happy objects

Not opposed to kifaru as I have friends with their packs and have no complaints when Ive used them, just no need to change. I do have a kifaru Tut and cylinder stove though.

I have no complaints with my setup, but if I were to try another brand Exo is almost certainly where I'd go.

Yeah exo makes good packs too. No need to fix what works for you! I swapped packs on pack outs with kuiu, Kifaru, and SG. Between kifaru, SG and Exo, roll a dice. They are all very close as long as they are fitted properly. Kuiu was the least comforter with weight IMO but not enough that I wouldnt use it, with that said is is the most comfortable with out heavy weight Only pack I would prefer no to use is elberstock, I would use it if its all I had, but it doesnt compare to the others in heavy weight carrying. Their day packs like X2 are awesome, but as a whole dont carry weight near as well as the big 4.
