That's my dad and I in 1971 after a very successful opening day dove hunt with friends on our place in California. My how time flys, I was a sophomore in high school. 30 miles south of Fresno. Did a google satellite map on Reedley, looks like it was probably a small farming community when you were there.

Yes it was. Lots of tree fruit, citrus, grapes, nuts, alfalfa, etc. You name it it was grown.
