I have a shop full of DeWalt 20V EQ and have put a ton of hours on all of it. I needed a mower for feeding pens and other small jobs and didn’t want to mess with another gas engine. I used it today and it’s perfect for small jobs. I’m not sure how it would do on a typical suburban yard but for what I needed I couldn’t be more pleased.

My wife has a Ryobi. She loves it, since it’s light and easy to use. That’s the good news. The reality is the thing is anemic. It can’t handle any tough mowing job. I’m sure a Dewalt is better. The really good news is that I don’t have to start the gas mower she had before.

I mowed some dormant coastal that was about 8” high and it didn’t phase it so I’m hopeful what it does with green grass.

I have a 40v Ryobi that's great for 2x a week mowing my small front yard, but it sure doesn't suck up the thatch. Keeping the gas-powered Huskie for the scalping and such.

Didn't even know they had a mower!

In 2021 I bought a Dewalt impact driver on the advice of my nephew and brudda, it gets the job done! Also bought a Dewalt grinder, both have been solid in a commercial job environment.

I’m up to 8 or 9 tools they make and I use them on my ranch so it’s pretty close to a commercial environment too. The grease gun makes short work on a tractor.

X2 on the DeWalt grease gun. Bought mine for the tractor and it’s a godsend for all those fittings on the front end loader.

Plugged up grease zerks are no match for it. I typically YouTube the tool because the manuals are pretty worthless.

Yes sir, love me some You Tube, has saved me time and coin for sure. 10-4 on the zerks, I usually have a few spares just for those fun occasions. Will definitely look at that one, got in a huge fight with a couple manual ones last summer, one survived, there was buried lol.

I buy all the tools on eBay new and “tool only” because I already have the batteries. If you get a battery I suggest the 5ah. It’s a good size for anything.

Regarding that grease gun, I know somebody that has an air powered grease gun. He said once a year he attaches it to the outer Buddy Bearing on his boat and literally flushes out and re-greases his bearings with it. It is blowing past the inside seal and has to be a huge mess. However, he then wipes up inside and out before hitting the highway. So far he hasn't had a problem. Does this sound like a good idea, or do you think he's just been lucky not to have a problem yet?
