I haven’t shot a muzzleloader in 25 years, last one I owned was called a TC White Mountain Carbine.

Fast forward to today, I watched the McWhorter show and they had this XML banging steel at 600 yards. Wow .

Alot of long range ML now gunwerks, McWhorter, fierce, Procision, best of the west, arrowhead, Viking etc.

With NM changing laws and many other states, I image they will cheapen up quick.

Even some of the “modern” sidelocks and flintlock muzzleloaders are ridiculously expensive. I have a couple of buddies that shoot old-style guns competitively, and they have spent many thousands on custom rigs for competition. Those guys are shooting 100 yard groups better than I can with my in-line.
