Problem's not Dak, not McCarthy.....though they are part of it. Problem is as long as Jerry has control/GM responsibilities, they are destined for failure. Been saying it for 25 years and been right for 25 years.

They were exposed to who they were as a team, the team struggled to beat any team with a winning record, maybe 2?

The team, not the coach or owner did not have the talent or deserved to take a playoff spot from another team.

Not last playoff win. They've had several since then (4-5), but no appearance in the NFC championship game since '95.

Been saying it all season - their defense is good (Not great) if they are getting pressure on the QB, but they are awful if they're not getting pressure.

Looks like they are saddled with an extremely high paid mediocre quarterback…who, when the pressure ratchets up, can’t respond.

Parts of the offensive line is aging, the running back is undersized for the workload. You might be able to fix those two things, but how do you address the QB position?

The defense is undersized, which is why they can;t stop the run. Quinn would be crazy not to take a HC job if it’s out there.

How do you fix the quarterback spot? The Cowboys (Jones family) have cornered themselves.
