Other than having a gun that's not going to turn to dust, trekking through 5 inches of mud, getting struck by lightning, and all that hassle for potentially nothing...
it could be fun.
I got out to the field yesterday to swat some dove, and it starts raining like crazy. Soaked, i had half a mile walk back home in 5" thick of mud, lightning everywhere and me- the tallest thing in a field, with a big metal gun. Great.... As the rain came down sideways, a Solo dove was trying to fight the wind, floating in the sky, I took aim at the bird that was seemingly mocking my very existence. Blammmmo... At least I didn't get skunked.
Also; please turn your caps lock off. This isn't that Extreme of a topic to warrant hollering.

I am 8 miles west of Denton north of 380. Sorry the cap lock is a work thing. Hope it did not hurt your ears. Thanks, Billy

Lucky you!!! I am busy all morning otherwise I would be hunting. I normally hunt the fields all around the Jahova Witness Church. Let us know how you do or how wet you get lol. I have not been seeing as many birds as usual around here.
