I’m having a hard time aging this deer. Trying to figure out if we should cull him or not. His horns are pretty junky and looks mature but can’t seem to figure it out. Any opinions are welcome!

IMO a rutted-down 5.5 year old, although he could be 4.5. He's obviously broken up, do you have a before pic? How does his rack compare to his peers?

Tough one I feel he is in that 4-5 year old range for sure though with that body. His head on one pic looks five, the other a little younger. He's a solid cull though for sure.

No I don’t have any pics of him till recently. His horns almost look like they aren’t broke but it’s hard to tell

5.5 yrs old post rut pic is why there's no belly. Good sway in back. Broken up due to fighting.

5.5 judging based off the one tine he has left of his 8pt frame, his ability or potential to exceed 125” mark, was a dream

He's rutted down. Face is mature enough. If your ranch goal is to produce trophies then this buck needs to eat a bullet quick or early next fall if you can't get him this season. Otherwise you'll have a bunch of this trash running around in a few years...
