So here is my down and dirty redneck style of shotgun fitment. This old mossberg 835 come with a mid-bead and a huge white irridescent type front bead. I never could beat the urge to line them up so I ditched the mid bead. But still hit a hair low-ish so I took the bead off completely and just learned to split my target with the rib. Now hitting a hair high but still worked ok. Later down the road I got the smallest bead that fit this thread and voila, perfect. Still didnt fit right so i still had to consciously line up the rib then drop down into the proper sight picture or what have you, found shims for cast on Amazon to fix that but didn’t handle the drop. Well i adjusted the drop one day with this two sides gorilla tape and a single strip of it fixed my drop but threw off the cast. Took the shim out, now when i throw that gun up it is naturally aligned perfectly and the pattern hits perfectly. I can’t miss with this thing.

So i just now peeled the back off that tape! Slapped a pie e of duct tape on top of it to protect me from the adhesive. As good as a mossberg 835 can get, you can keep your fancy rigs with fitted or adjustable stocks. Just kidding i would love a sweet fitted gun but this will do!
