One thing I'd add about the scope is this.... If you're looking for a very aggressively priced, small/compact, entry level thermal rifle scope for mostly shooting under 100 yards with shooting out to 200 yards, the Wraith thermal is a great little optic. If you're willing to spend $2,500 then you can get into a different glass of thermals but obviously that's a big jump up from $1,799.

Assuming it’s like the 4k, 2 cr123s or it comes with a USB-c plug to run an external pack.

It takes 2 CR123A batteries

Dang, saw one at the 50yd range last week, didn't realize what it was. He said NV on his 300 BO. For hog hunting. I did get his box of used brass. He seemed to be pleased. I didn't look at his target.
