Oklahoma rifle season ended December 3rd with archery season going till January 15th. I'm not aware of any neighbors using stick & string chasing deer. So these guys should be around next year. I had several opportunities at both of them but gave them a pass, next year they won't be so lucky.

No guarantees. Deer have a hard life after getting run down from the rut and winters take a toll on bucks every year in colder states. I had a nice 10 point make it last season and never saw him this season. I`m pretty sure he was a buck I had pictures of in March with no horns, skinny and a broken leg. I had high hope for him this season and very disappointed. Good luck next season and I hope you see him.

Yes mother nature has plans for everything, but I'll do my part to keep them alive. I'll run feeders till March and minerals after that till fall along with spring food plots. Feeding protein isn't in my budget.

Cool deer.
Isn’t this 2 pics of the same buck? I think you’re right.

Nice bucks. We have good ones make it every year and somehow disappear. I hope yous make it. Our deer are in good shape this year, the rut didn’t seem to be hot and heavy this year, maybe more will live.

Feeding protein isn't in my budget. Build yourself a cotton seed feeder when you get your welder and keep it full, pretty cheap alternative to protein pellets and they’ll come from far and wide to munch on it once you acclimate them to it. You’ve got the tractor and the time so I’d be adding a summer food plot as well and run the feeders year round. You’ve got a hell of a location to do it and the benefits will be very rewarding see how much of a difference it makes. If nothing else do the cottonseed for sure,,

I believe that I see 2 different bucks, reason being is the left G2 on the 2 bucks are different . On curves in and one curves out and away and the 2 kicker points on the bottom pic are much closer to the tip it would appear to me . But JMO .
Born to hunt and fish.

But what are the odds you have two main frame 8s, both no brows, all other tines almost the exact same length between them, with kickers off the same LG1 tine that flares back? That's what convinced me it's the same deer.
