After 195 years! I realize they struggled with Marlin and some other models with quality but an iconic gun manufacturer shouldn’t have to go down like this. My 2 cents.

Here’s a pic of me and 71Rcode back in 2016. We snuck out during the 12U Cooperstown trip to hit the plant and some local gun stores.

They are closing that facility to move to a friendly southern state. The media is playing it up like they are going out of business.

There’s already a thread about it in the rifle section.

Good for them. Get out of the liberal hell hole. Hopefully their quality improves, too.

Thanks. I would have not thought to look there. I did scan this section.

Thx

I love my vintage Remingtons. One of my Model 7’s has been my deer gun this fall. I’m hoping they go back to what made them famous.

I gave #1 grandson a Model 6 boy's rifle several years ago. He's just now realizing how cool it is...and he's about to be too big for it.

Yes sir. I was a huge fan not that long ago. I’d love to be one again.

Yep, Remington quality has certainly gone downhill. I have a 700 in .243 that my dad bought in 1969 and he passed it on to me. I probably have a thousand rounds thru that gun and it has not had one problem ever and is extremely accurate.
