Capt. Kangaroo! Watched it in the 60’s, probably before we had a color tv.
It ran from 1955-1984.

I never quite knew what to think about Tom Terrific. It was at least a cartoon, but kinda weird. And yes, I started watching Captain Kangaroo from the very start, in the 1950s. Eisenhower was president.

I liked Slam Bang Theater the best. That's right If you grew up in Dallas back in the 70's you had to be on the Bozo Show and if you got lucky you could get up there and play for the prizes.

In Tulsa we had uncle zeb. Cartoons and games and they all got to say hi to everyone on the way out.
